Bring the warmth and flavor of the islands to your garden with the Caribbean Spice Tree Bundle, featuring two of the Caribbean’s most iconic aromatic evergreens:
- Allspice Tree (Pimenta dioica) – The legendary “all-in-one” spice with notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. A must-have for jerk seasoning, sauces, and desserts.
- Bay Rum Tree (Pimenta racemosa var. racemosa) – Glossy, fragrant leaves used for traditional island cologne and herbal tonics, with a rich, spicy aroma that perfumes the air.
Together, these tropical trees add beauty, fragrance, and history to your home landscape. Grow them in full sun and well-drained soil for lush, evergreen foliage and year-round island vibes.
Includes two mature trees (about 2-3 ft tall) in our X-Large (3 gallon) pots.
Growing Tips
Plant in full sun to partial shade in well-drained, rich soil. Keep evenly moist during the growing season, though mature trees are somewhat drought-tolerant. Prune lightly to shape when young. Hardy in USDA Zones 9b–11, allspice thrives in warm, humid conditions and can be container-grown in cooler climates. Fruiting trees are dioecious, meaning both male and female trees are needed for berry production—though even non-fruiting trees are prized for their aromatic leaves.
