Growing Guide: Pink Lemonade Blueberry
Growing Tips
Also known as: Pink Lemonade Blueberry, Pink Sapphire
Plant Pink Lemonade Blueberry (Vaccinium ‘Pink Lemonade’) in full sun to part shade and provide acidic, organic-rich, well-draining soil with a pH of 4.5–5.5. Keep the soil consistently moist, as blueberries have shallow roots that are sensitive to drying out. Apply an organic mulch to help retain moisture and maintain soil conditions. This deciduous shrub grows well in containers and produces sweet pink berries in summer, with attractive orange-red fall foliage. Although self-fertile, planting another compatible blueberry variety nearby can improve fruit production. Prune lightly to remove dead or weak branches and maintain healthy growth.
