Vicks Plant (Plectranthus tomentosa)
The Vicks plant, is a rare succulent perennial herb and medicinal shrub. It's cascading nature makes it perfect for growing in a special pot, a raised bed, or a hanging basket planter but it also grows extraordinarily well in the ground as a groundcover, growing as wide as it is tall.
Vicks plants has an invigorating menthol fragrance synonymous with the vapor rub that it's named after. The Vicks plant has bright green velvety and succulent foliage that has a minty, menthol aroma, and when when crushed can be inhaled (or steamed) to clear congestion.
Vicks' plants purple blooms are loved by butterflies and bees, but it's menthol aroma does an excellent job of warding off mosquitoes.
